Endgame
Atlas & Mapping — The Endgame Backbone
After the campaign, the Atlas of Worlds — a giant interconnected map — opens up. Most of the endgame happens here.
Waystones
Each map is entered with a Waystone, a consumable that sets the area level (difficulty and loot quality).
- Tiers run I – XV (15 tiers).
- You start dropping Tier I; higher-level monsters drop the next tier, scaling upward.
- Run tiers your character can handle comfortably.
Progress by shortest path
Run maps, kill bosses, reveal the Atlas, unlock nearby objectives. You don’t need to run every map.
- Earn Atlas passives by completing maps in the Precursor Fortress.
- Path to quest objectives via the shortest route (fewest maps).
- Reaching the Pinnacle boss in the fortress tower lets each kill auto-complete a large section (~40 maps at once).
Atlas passives
Customize your mapping (e.g., boosting specific league mechanics). In 0.5, an Expedition-specific Atlas passive tree also lets you tune Expedition encounters.
Raise Waystone tiers comfortably, move by shortest path to objectives, and use Pinnacle bosses to clear sections at once.
