Leveling Tips — Rush the Campaign

The goal of the campaign is to get through efficiently and reach maps (endgame), where gear and currency actually matter.

Resistances are mandatory

Elemental resistance caps (75% fire/cold/lightning) are effectively mandatory by Act 3. Check your defenses panel and prioritize resistances over damage on gear.

Use rune sockets

• On attack builds, get a 2-socket weapon (or add sockets to a decent one).
• Socket damage runes for a big boost — Iron Rune is usually solid, but any rune helps.
• Even a white 2-socket weapon with runes is often enough to progress.

Run a loot filter

A loot filter is essential — it hides near-useless drops and cuts visual clutter. Everyone uses one.

Currency solves problems

Use basic currency to fix real issues (weak weapon, missing resists, low life, slow boots). Save rare currency for better items or trading.

Cap resistances by Act 3, put runes in a 2-socket weapon, and run a loot filter — the campaign gets far smoother.
